Liz Hall consults, coaches, teaches and speaks on themes around mindfulness and compassion at work. She is the author of Mindful Coaching (Kogan Page, 2013) and of Coach Your Team (Penguin Business, 2019), which supports leaders to foster mindful compassionate cultures. She’s also the author/editor of Coaching in Times of Crisis and Transformation (Kogan Page, 2015).
Liz is the co-founder of Coaching through Covid, a not-for-profit offering pro-bono coaching to key workers. Mindfulness and compassion are at the heart of the scheme, helping it to cultivate the psychological safety, creativity and agility that have fueled its success, and for participants to access resilience, profound learning and even joy in challenging times.
A senior practitioner coach, and an award-winning journalist with more than 30 years’ experience writing about business, HR and health issues, Liz is also the editor/ co-owner of Coaching at Work magazine. Through this platform, she launched the successful annual Climate Coaching Action Day.
Liz is the co-founder of the International Summit for Mindfulness and Compassion at Work in Madrid.
She spends much of her time in Spain with various rescue animals, enjoying walks in the countryside and by the sea.
She is fluent in Spanish.
